Jim Meskimen is a Scientologist and he's one funny guy. He is an improv actor who has done a lot of work in commercials. Has his own YouTube channel, which is well worth browsing.

Celebrities, Best-Selling Authors, Famous Illustrators to Fete Newcomers at Anniversary Gala in Hollywood

HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/—Twelve winning writers and twelve illustrators from around the globe will be honored during the 26th Annual L. Ron Hubbard Achievement Awards at the Roosevelt Hotel—the same location where the first Academy Awards were held— on Saturday, August 28th, 2010.

The highlight of the ceremony will be the announcement of the year's two Grand Prize winners who will each receive $5,000. Quarterly winners also receive cash prizes from $500 to $1,000. Their winning stories and illustrations will appear in the annual anthology L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers and Illustrators of the Future, Volume 26 (Galaxy Press, 2010). Also being released is a special coffee table book edition of L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future: The First 25 Years, a photographic retrospective of the 25 years of the contest and containing over 1,000 images.

John Travolta Interviewed on E-Online

E-Online aired and interview with John Travolta, filmed at the 41st Anniversary Gala of the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre in Hollywood. John talks about the Scientology Volunteer Ministers and the Scientology programs to improve literacy and combat drug abuse.

41st Anniversary Gala at Celebrity Centre

Sunday was the annual Scientology Celebrity Centre Gala in Hollywood. Founded in 1969, this year's even marked the 41st anniversary, and it was spectacular.

Actress Erika Christensen was ravishing, as usual.

What a treat to see John Travolta and Kelly Preston. Kelly, who is expecting, was radiant. They are photographed here with their guests, Buz Aldren and his wife, Lois Driggs Cannon.
