Kirstie Alley is Looking Good!

I just saw Kirstie Alley and, boy, is she looking good. I was sitting in a restaurant and I saw this woman walk by, I didn't see her face at first, but I noticed the long blonde hair and the great figure. Don't tell my wife :). Then she turned and I saw it was Kirstie Alley. Whatever diet she's doing, it is working!

Why Scientology is Good for Hollywood Architecture

I saw this little blurb in the news today. Thought it bares repeating:

"If you live where I do, in the actual city of Hollywood, just a few blocks away from where the Oscars are held, you see the Church of Scientology as somewhat of a savior. Within a two-mile corridor along Hollywood Boulevard, the Church owns eight historic buildings, four of which are on the National Register of Historic Places. In a neighborhood where architectural triumphs evaporate with little remorse, Scientology is the most ardent preservationist force in town." Alissa Walker on Design Observer.

That is certainly true of the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre. What a beautiful building, and they've done such a great job of renovating it, including the landscaping.

Breakfast in Paris with Tom Cruise

As everybody knows, the press would never print anything in the least bit inaccurate or that was (dare I say it) a fib (yeah right). However, anyone who has read any of the (forgive my French) crap that has been printed recently about Tom Cruise may be wondering who to believe. So here is a refreshing piece about two ladies who met Tom and his family in Paris. As one lady said, "He was extremely nice and very friendly. It’s hard to think about all those crazy things they say about him on the television, because he seemed like a completely different person." Dare I say it? Perhaps the media has been fibbing. Congratulations to Tom Cruise & the MI-3 Team

Not only did Mission Impossible III make more internationally in its debut weekend than both of the earlier MI movies, but it maintained its momentum this weekend to beat the new releases and stay at number 1 in the USA. Well done to Tom Cruise and the MI 3 team.

If you haven't seen the movie yet, I highly recommend it. It has a superb ensemble cast that includes a couple of new faces that I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of.
